Asian Metal visits Fugu Jinwantong

On the morning of December 27, 2024, Ms. Daphne Zhang, the Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal, visited Fugu Jinwantong Magnesium Co., Ltd. and discussed with Mr. Weizheng Su, the Sales Director, and Mr. Feng Wang, the Sales Manager, on the supply and demand relationship as well as the price trend of magnesium market in 2025. Both sides agreed that magnesium enterprises are facing multiple pressures of inverted production costs, slow application and weak market confidence. With magnesium price and performance advantages, they expect to see the promotion of application for magnesium metal in 2025.

Founded in 2003, Fugu Jinwantong Magnesium Co., Ltd. is a circular economy enterprise with comprehensive resource utilization, environmental protection and energy saving. The company is located in the Gaoshan Lancoke Industrial Concentration Zone of Xinmin Town in the hinterland of Shenfu Coalfield. Relying on the advantages of local rich coal resources, the company adheres to the development model of scale, diversification and integration. It has built recycling and comprehensive utilization production lines of 900,000tpy of semi coke, 40,000tpy of magnesium ingot, 3 furnaces of 31,500kVA for ferrosilicon, 2×50MW coal gas-blended generator sets, and 2.4 million tpy of washed coal.
