On the morning of 25 December, 2024, Ms. Daphne Zhang, the Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal,visited Fugu Yihe Magnesium Co., Ltd. and held in-depth discussions with Mr. Liangtao Su, the General Manager, and Mr. Heping Hao, the Vice General Manager of the company, regarding the supply and demand for magnesium in 2024 and the anticipation of magnesium application in 2025. Mr. Liangtao Su emphasized that Shaanxi Magnesium Factory is unique in the industry with its circular industrial chain. In recent years, the price of semi-coke has been inverted due to the sluggish demand in the market, which has put pressure on the magnesium factory. This "double-edged sword" has become a pressure for the magnesium factory to move forward in 2025.

Fugu Yihe Magnesium Co., Ltd. is located in Gaoshan Semi-coke Industrial Park, Xinmin Town, Fugu County, Shaanxi Province, only 200 meters away from the G338 Highway. The company was approved and filed on May 31, 2009, started construction in April 2010, and went into production in January 2013 with a supporting gasification workshop for 20,000tpy of magnesium metal production line, a production capacity of 420,000tpy of clean carbon, and that of 30,000tpy of tar built.
