Wenfeng Advanced Materials visits Asian Metal

On the afternoon of February 22, 2024, Mr. Tony Zhang, the Guinea Office Deputy Director of Hebei Wenfeng Advanced Materials Co., visited Asian Metal and had a friendly meeting with Mr. Friday Gao, the Chief Consultant.

Mr. Tony Zhang introduced the company's current alumina production capacity and the expansion plan in the coming two years, and then indicated that the company's consumption of imported bauxite would would increase after the production expansion because the company fully uses imported bauxite as the raw material. Mr. Friday Gao analyzed the global bauxite supply structure including the production, quality and major producers in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast and Turkey, etc.

As a member of Asian Metal for years, Wenfeng Advanced Materials has been refering to bauxite index published by Asian Metal. Besides, they plan to meet more global bauxite producers in the 14th Aluminum Raw Materials Summit to be held by Asian Metal on May 23-24 in Guangzhou, China.
