Asian Metal visits Nandan Zhenghua

On the afternoon of January 10th, 2025, Ms. Alina Fang, the Antimony Market Analyst of Asian Metal, accompanied by Mr. Yin Tang, the Deputy General Manager of Chenzhou Yaochen Economic and Trade Co., Ltd., visited Nandan Zhenghua Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., where she met with Mr. Guiqiu Tang, the Chairman of the company, and Mr. Puming Tang, the General Manager. After an introduction to the current production and operational situation at Nandan Zhenghua, the two sides analyzed and discussed the current market price trends for antimony products. Mr. Tang Guiqiu explained that the company has made significant improvements in the quality and output of antimony ingots through continuous optimization of the production process, including "oxygen-enriched bath melting technology for antimony monobiodium lead-antimony ore" and "cryogenic air separation combined with oxygen-enriched bath melting and two-turn two-gas acid production."

Nandan Zhenghua Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd., formerly known as Nandan Zhenghua Smelter, was founded in 2000. The company occupies a total construction area of 180 mu (about 120,000 square meters) and has fixed assets totaling 480 million yuan. Nandan Zhenghua’s current design and production capacity includes an annual output of 10,000 tons of antimony ingots, 10,000 tons of antimony white, 10,000 tons of lead ingots, 50,000 tons of sulfuric acid, as well as the comprehensive recovery of 5,000 tons of zinc concentrate, 200 tons of gold, silver, copper, and bismuth (including 60 tons of silver). The company procures approximately 100,000 tons of lead-antimony concentrate and other antimony-containing materials each year.
