Beijing Steel Research Dahui visits Asian Metal

On the afternoon of January 13th, 2025, Mr. Shaobo Wang, the General Manager of Beijing Steel Research Dahui Technology Development Co., Ltd., visited Asian Metal and exchanged views with Ms. Jennifer Ye, the Vanadium and Molybdenum Market Analyst, Ms. Bonnie Song, the Cobalt Market Analyst, and Mr. Xianghua Wang, the Nickel Market Analyst, on the domestic vanadium, molybdenum and cobalt nickel market.

Mr. Shaobo Wang mentioned that he plans to expand the company's overseas molybdenum business in 2025, so its demand and requirements for raw materials will become stronger and higher. Then Ms. Jennifer Ye introduced the distribution as well as the supply and demand of mainstream molybdenum markets in China and overseas regions. Mr. Shaobo Wang expressed his intention to establish long-term cooperation with domestic molybdenum concentrate suppliers by deepening the cooperation with Asian Metal.

Subsequently, Ms. Bonnie Song introduced the current supply, demand and price of cobalt metal market. Mr. Shaobo Wang expressed his intention to develop the cobalt intermediates market in order to ensure the supply of raw materials. Following that, both parties exchanged views on the current industrial chain of the cobalt market and the related processing fee.

Finally, Mr. Shao Wang made a brief introduction to the company's production and domestic distribution of superalloy, and discussed the future price trend of nickel cathode with Mr. Xianghua Wang. After Mr. Shaobo Wang expressed the company's plan to engage in the trading of nickel ore, Mr. Xianghua Wang introduced the consumption of nickel ore in domestic market in the past years and gave corresponding suggestions on nickel ore trade.
