The US Embassy in China visits Asian Metal
On the morning of January 7th, 2025, Mr. Ryan Casselberry, the Economic Officer of the US Embassy in China, and Dr. Xiaoshuai Liu visited Asian Metal. They had a friendly exchange with Mr. Hao Zhao, the Sales Director, and Ms. Alina Fang, the Antimony Market Analyst.
Mr. Casselberry began by emphasizing that both China and the United States will continue to uphold the principle of fostering friendly economic exchanges. He then engaged in discussions with Mr. Hao Zhao Hao and Ms. Alina Fang about the current economic systems and the modernization development in both countries. After Mr. Casselberry highlighted that China's current export policies on antimony and other non-ferrous metals have a big influence on the global supply chain for these materials, both sides exchanged views on the future development prospects of the international non-ferrous metals market in light of the current global economic environment. Mr. Hao Zhao provided a brief overview of the history and current state of domestic non-ferrous metal smelting, and then stated that it is now a crucial time for the prices of non-ferrous metals to return to their intrinsic value. He further noted that the formulation of relevant export policies is an important step taken by the Chinese government to safeguard national security, protect public interests, and promote sustainable economic development.
