Asian Metal visits Guangdong Xianglu Tungsten

On March, 25, 2016, Maggie Lee, tungsten market analyst of Asian Metal visited Zhou Weiping, Director of Marketing Department of Guangdong Xianglu Tungsten Co., Ltd. and Ding Songjiang, Manager of Export Department of Guangdong Xianglu Tungsten Co., Ltd.
At first, Ding Songjiang, Manager of Export Department of Guangdong Xianglu Tungsten Co., Ltd. led Maggie to visit the tungsten carbide powder workshop. The plant can produce around 3,000t of tungsten carbide powder per year and mainly runs at full operating rate every month. As raw materials’ prices remain at a high level, they are cautious about making purchases. Then Maggie met Zhou Weiping, Director of Marketing Department of Guangdong Xianglu Tungsten Co., Ltd. and also had a discussion with related people from Marketing and purchasing departments. The two sides shared ideas about current and future tungsten market tendency, demand from downstream industry and future development of tungsten companies. It is agreed that the tungsten prices have already hit the bottom while it still needs some time for the demand to rebound in the future.
In addition, Mr Zhou thought highly of this meeting and said they would like to strengthen the relationship with media and other tungsten companies through more communications.
