RSC Global visits Asian Metal

On April 26, Tang Zhibo, the Asia Pacific Region Manager of RCS Global, came to visit Asian Metal and had a deep exchange of views with Mandy, the tin market analyst, and Eric, the rare earth market analyst of Asian Metal.

Analyst Mandy had a detail discussion with manager Tang concerning the issue of conflict minerals. Manager Tang stated that CFSI pays high attention to mining issues in Burma now mainly due to opaque dealmaking of tin ore which led to harsh requirements for source of raw material by end consumers. Analyst Mandy ruled out the possibility of the existence of armed violence by conducting investigation on tin market in Wa State, Burma.

Analyst Eric introduced the current situation of the rare earth industry chain, crackdown and sate reserves policy to manager Tang, specifically focusing on the current marketing situation and developing trend of the comprehensive recovery of rare earth waste. Manager Tang said that their clients show interest to expand the business of recycling mobile magnet. She mainly aims to understand the rare earth industry chain which is to be made transparent for risk evaluation, and then make pre-research project of recycling magnet. She hopes to get support from Asian Metal in the above aspects and will actively participate in the 9th International Rare Earth Summit in Shanghai held by Asian Metal from May 11 to May 12 in 2017.
