Morgan Stanley leads 23 delegates from 16 investment companies to visit Asian Metal
On May 22, Rachel Zhang, executive director in Morgan Stanley Asia Limited, led 23 delegates to visit Asian Metal. The delegates are from 16 companies including Morgan Stanley (Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, London), Nomura Asset Management Taiwan Ltd, Neuberger Berman Singapore Pte Limited, RWC Singapore (Pte.) Limited, Korea Investment Corporation, Columbia Threadneedle Investments, Pioneer Investment Management Limited, Electron Capital Partners and Blackrock.
The delegates communicated with Friday Gao, Senior Analyst in Asian Metal, Cherry Chen and Bell Feng, Analysts in Asian Metal on topics of bauxite, alumina and primary aluminum markets. Friday Gao exchanged views with them about the effect of environmental policies on bauxite. Bell Feng made deep communication with them about the environmental policy and the price tendency in alumina industry. Cherry Chen introduced them about the effect of “Supply-Side” and environmental policies on aluminum smelters’ production in Xinjiang, Shandong and Inner Mongolia.
