Guangxi Maoxin Technology visits Asian Metal
On the morning of 5 July 2017, Li Anjun, the general manager of Guangxi Maoxin Technology Co., Ltd. visited Asian Metal and conducted in-depth communication with Eric Qiu, the rare earth market analyst of Asian Metal, on the development of scandium industry and the enterprise alliance of Chinese scandium enterprises.
Mr. Li expresses that due to currently weak demand for scandium oxide and fierce competition between insiders, he expects that Asian Metal will give full play of its popularity and resource advantages to create the enterprise alliance of Chinese scandium enterprises, and take advantages of the price influence of rare earth products to formulate price standards and price negotiation rules, providing high quality and inexpensive products for the military industry and private enterprises at last.
Mr. Qiu firstly appreciated Guangxi Maoxin Technology’s supports for all previous submits held by Asian Metal, and introduced the running conditions of the scandium oxide market and operating status of major scandium enterprises to Mr. Li. Mr. Qiu pointed out that the opportunity in the scandium market is the application of scandium products, especially the promotion of Scandium-Aluminum alloy in the domestic and overseas markets. He stressed that Asian Metal hopes to devote itself to the information publication, connection of supply and demand, data analysis and research of the industry, and contributing to the prosperity and significant development of the scandium market.
Guangxi Maoxin Technology Co., Ltd. mainly studies the gathering and extracting of nonferrous metal products such as scandium oxide from waste water and residue, and engages in the purification and refining of metal products including scandium oxide and the R&D and production of scandium alloy products. With the annual disposing capacity of about 450,000t of waste water and residue and an annual production capacity of 3t of high purity scandium oxide now, the company is one of Chinese major producers of scandium oxide.
