Asian Metal visits Baotou Weiming Rare Earth, Baotou Taida Technology and Baotou Jinmeng Huitong
On December 14, 2017, Eric Qiu, Asian Metal rare earth market analyst, and Liu Guojian, Asian Metal president assistant visited Baotou Weiming Rare Earth Materials Co., Ltd., Baotou Taida Technology Co., Ltd. and Baotou Jinmeng Huitong Trade Co., Ltd.
On the morning of December 14, Eric Qiu and Liu Guojian visited the production workshop of Baotou Weiming Rare Earth Materials Co., Ltd. accompanied by general manager Liu Yongqing and Yang Mingsheng, former general manager of Mengxi Magnetic Industry Co., Ltd., Baotou Rare Earth Research Institute. The two sides exchanged views on the supply and demand of current samarium metal market, relevant producers and the export condition of samarium metal. Mr. Liu stated that they would have capacity upgrade and reconstruction in 2018, and would actively participate in the 10th International Rare Earth Summit to be held by Asian Metal on May 10th -11th, 2018.

At noon on December 14, Eric Qiu and Liu Guojian visited the general manager Ma Ruiping and deputy general manager Ma Qiang of Baotou Taida Technology Co., Ltd. , as well as Shi Guiping, general manager of Baotou Ruiqian Metal Co., Ltd. Eric introduced Asian Metal's business prospect, pricing models, market information and data, etc. to Mr. Shi and Ms. Ma. Both sides discussed about the supply and demand in LaCe mischmetal market and exports of the material. Mr. Shi highly recognized Asian Metal's work on information, stating that he would actively support the International Rare Earth Summit to be held by Asian Metal in Sanya. Finally, Eric Qiu and Liu Guojian visited the production workshop of Shenlong Silicon Industry of the Group accompanied by GM Shi.

On the afternoon of December 14, Eric Qiu and Liu Guojian visited Baotou Jinmeng Huitong Trade Co., Ltd. and had discussion with general manager Sun Xiaoping and manager Liu Chenhao. Mr. Sun said that the company is currently integrating and building the sales & trading platform involving products such as rare earth oxides, metals, NdFeB, polishing powder and NdFeB scrap. Eric talked with Mr. Sun about the development direction of Asian Metal platform, the supply and demand status of rare earth ore in Chinese and international markets, and the recent rare earth price trend. And Liu Guojian talked about the 10th International Rare Earth Summit with Mr. Sun. Mr. Sun stated that he would actively support 10th International Rare Earth Summit to be held by Asian Metal on May 10th -11th, 2018.
