Asian Metal visits Guizhou Yinxing Abrasive, Guizhou Huangping Fucheng Industrial and Guizhou Jinyi Abrasive

At 9:00 am of December 28th 2017, Zhao Hao, the sales director of Asian Metal, and Iris He, the refractory material market analyst visited Guizhou Yinxing Abrasive Co., Ltd. Zhao Mingxi, the general manager of the company warmly welcomed them and showed them around the plant. Mr. Zhao revealed that brown fused alumina enterprises in Guizhou performed upgrade on their equipment affected by environmental protection inspection policy and have been qualified with the related standards now. The operating rate of local enterprises kept an operating rate at as high as 60% to 70%, but the supply still failed to meet the demand. The company newly increased high-temperature calcination and grain sand production lines in 2017 which are expected to go into production after the Spring Festival.

At 11:00 am of December 28th, Zhao Hao and Iris visited Guizhou Huangping Fucheng Industrial Co., Ltd. and were warmly welcomed by Li Zhengyi, the deputy general manager of the company. They conducted in-depth communications on the current industry status and future development trend. Mr. Li noted that the supply-demand status of the market was greatly affected by environmental protection inspection and the supply of bauxite and graphite electrode. In addition, Mr. Li disclosed that bauxite, as raw material of resource products, will become a major factor that may influence production and price in the coming years. With four newly increased 12,500KVA smelting furnaces, the company is now upgrading its smelting technique and expects the capacity of brown fused alumina would expand to 200,000tpy in the second half of 2018. Finally, Mr. Li stated that he would take part in the 6th International Refractory Material & Abrasive Forum.

At 4:00 PM, Zhao Hao and Iris visited Guizhou Jinyi Abrasive Co., Ltd. They were warmly welcomed and ushered by Xiong Bin, the chairman of the company, and Nie Zongjing, the general sales manager of the company. Owning its own bauxite calcination production lines, the smelting plant of the company has completed transformation of EIA. The official of the company revealed that bauxite will play a big role in the production of brown fused alumina in the future and believed that there are possibilities for prices of resource-type industrial raw materials to go up in the short term.
