Asian Metal visits Boai Hengyu Carbon, Yingli Economy and Trade and Wanfang Aluminum

On the morning of March 8th, 2018, Wei Shuyong, the general manager assistant, and Helen Li, the assistant analyst of Asian Metal visited Henan Hengyu Carbon Co., Ltd. and were warmly welcomed by Tang Baoming, the general manager, and Bi Xiaojun, the director of Business Department. Mr. Tang exchanged opinions with Wei and Helen on the current environmental protection situation. According to Mr. Tang, as the environmental requirements are getting stricter and stricter now, carbon companies should keep upgrading their environmental equipment to meet the increasingly stricter environmental standard.

On the afternoon, Wei and Helen visited Jiaozuo Yingli Economy and Trade Co., Ltd. and were warmly received by Cheng Hailin, the general manager, and Zhao Sen, the manager of the company under whose guidance they paid a visit to the factories. The company has been established for 28 years and the original equipment for anode production was old, that's why they are upgrading and transforming the equipment currently. Mr. Cheng stated that companies have to keep up with the environmental requirements to maintain normal production due to the serious environmental situation, and they will meet the newly published emission requirement by Henan government if they finish upgrading the equipment. In addition, Mr. Cheng expressed that they will attend the 9th Primary Aluminum Raw Materials Summit to be held by Asian Metal in May.

Then, Helen and Wei visited Jiaozuo Wanfang Aluminum Co., Ltd. and communicated with Zhang Zhanhong, the section chief of the company. According to Mr. Zhang, they still restrict output during the heating season and consider resuming production of primary aluminum after mid-March. He also emphasized that their purchase price for anode depends on market prices and raw materials' prices considering that Chinese anode market sees sufficient supply and Wanfang Aluminum has stable anode suppliers.
