Hydro Aluminium As visits Asian Metal

On the afternoon of September 12, 2018, Mr. Kaare Kalstad, the Vice President of Hydro Aluminium As and Ms. Yifan Zhou in Xi'an office visited Asian Metal, and were warmly greeted by Ms. Daphne Zhang and Mr. Friday Gao, Consultants of Asian Metal. Both sides communicated about latest developments and future trends in the magnesium ingot market. Mr. Kaare paid great attention to the strict environmental protection policy in China and believed it would influence Chinese magnesium ingot prices continuously. Hydro's annual consumption capacity of magnesium ingot is 8,000t, and they purchase the material in Quarter steadily.

Mr. Gao talked about Chinese bauxite, alumina and carbon markets with Mr. Kaare, who introduced Hydro’s global alumina and aluminum business.

Mr. Kaare spoke highly of the information from Asian Metal. In addition, he also had great interests in the 2019 World Magnesium Conference and World Aluminum Raw Materials Summit held by Asian Metal.
