Shanghai Progress Chemical visits Asian Metal

On October 11, Mr. Simon Zhou, General Manager of Shanghai Progressive Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. visited Asian Metal and had a meeting with Mr. Friday Gao, Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal.

Mr. Gao analyzed Chinese demand for imported bauxite, especially the appearing demand in Shanxi and Henan.

Mr. Zhou said that they provide with protective equipment and technology for alumina refineries, including filter cloth and gloves. In addition, he introduced a new technology of entrained-flow bed used in alumina roasting. The new technology is now used by one alumina refinery in Henan, which can help to lower cost by around 2%.

Mr. Zhou agreed on the analysis of Asian Metal and also plans to import bauxite.
