Gc Partners Asia visits Asian Metal

On 16 January, 2019, Wu Zhuo and Tu Teng, Director and Senior Analyst of Gc Partners Asia Ltd, visited Asian Metal and exchanged opinions with Jane Sun, the nickel market analyst, and Jiang Bo, the vanadium market analyst of Asian Metal.

Gc Partners Asia Ltd is a member of Asian Metal and cooperates with Technology Metals Australia Limited who possesses nickel and vanadium mineral resources. Specifically, the infrastructure construction of nickel project is completed and it can be put into operation; the vanadium project is still under construction and expected to go into operation in 2021 with 16.7 million tons of proved vanadium pentoxide reserves and a designed annual capacity of 13,000t. The company focuses on sulphide nickel ore and vanadium pentoxide. Chinese market is an important business sector of the company, and it hopes to cooperate closely with China's downstream nickel and vanadium enterprises in terms of mining project investment, raw material product purchase and sales.

The two sides conducted in-depth and detailed discussion and sharing on the development status of China's nickel and vanadium markets, price fluctuation factors, prediction of future price trends, market demand, and the situation of major companies involved in various links of the industrial chain. In addition, the company signed up for the 7th International Cobalt Lithium Summit to be held on 21-22 March 2019, in Zhuhai.
