Asian Metal visits Daimler and Bühler Motor

On the morning of 18 November 2019, Vivian Pang, Consultant and Rare Earth Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal visited Daimler AG and exchanged opinion with the company's Global Material Efficiency Controlling Thomas Steib regarding rare earth supply & demand pattern and Asian Metal's price methodology.

Daimler AG is one of the biggest producers of premium cars and the world's biggest manufacturer of commercial vehicles with a global reach. The company has taken Asian Metal's rare earth price information for reference when signing supply contract with suppliers for many years.

In the afternoon, Vivian Pang visited Bühler Motor GmbH and was warm welcomed by the company's lead buyer Markus Linke. The two sides held in-depth discussions on the topics of rare earth price trends and the status & prospect of automobile industry. Markus spoke highly of Asian Metal's objective and accurate information. According to him, the company has referred Asian Metal's rare earth price information to sign supply and sales contracts for many years. Markus is interested in attending Asian Metal's 12th Rare Earth Summit which will be held on May 18-19th, 2020 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
