Price decreases for antimony ingot in Vietnam

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 6 Jun 13 - Sources from Viet Nam told Asian Metal that the closing price for antimony ingot in Viet Nam decreased by around USD250/t to about USD10,300/t with Viet Nam origin.
A Viet Nam-based producer with an output of about 800tpy told Asian Metal that he concludes deals according to previous month average price and the closing price for antimony ingot 99.8%min is about USD10,300/t into June and around USD10,550/t in May.
According to the source, the rainy season will come in two months and they run normal operation rate. The source also reported that owing to no sufficient antimony ore supply, they cannot expand their output.
Another source from Viet Nam told Asian Metal that he deals less than 100tpm of antimony ingot and offers about USD10,200/t for antimony ingot 99.65%min, but reported inquiries were thinner in the past two months.
The source claimed that the demand for antimony ingot decreases obviously compared with that in the same period of last year and some buyers bid at below USD10,000/t for antimony ingot 99.65%min.
