    The source noted that the market also sees some lower offers, but still few deals are concluded under the weak demand. “July and August is usually the off season and it is unlikely for the market to see improvement until September,” commented the source.

    A bismuth ingot producer in China claimed that they ran with an output of around 100tpm previously and stopped production in June due to the dull market. They now have a stock of around 100t in hand. “Some offers decrease to RMB100,000/t (USD7.42/lb) this week but few deals can be concluded at the level.
