Magnesium ingot prices were in downward trend in early September. The spot market had been thinly traded since August 22 due to weak demand. Many buyers, when knowing prices were hard to rebound and likely to decline, preferred to be on the sidelines or postponed purchase to wait for lower prices, which resulted in limited deals.
