In January 2013, facing the Spring Festival, most aluminum fluoride plants halted production, which lead to the tight supply, and the price remained going up. The fluorspar price also increased, which was at RMB2,200-2,300/t (USD359-375/t). After the Spring Festival, most plants resumed production, and the operating rate climbed up.
