Chinese bismuth ingot prices continued to appreciate in December with the leading driver being the continual addition of stocks in certain Asian exchanges. Furthermore, some major traders in China were rather active in purchasing material. The supply of bismuth ingots on the spot market was tight, which also added to the momentum of the upward movement. The Chinese bismuth ingot export market saw more orders in the first half of December however became quiet in late December due to the Christmas and New Year holidays commencing in the overseas markets. Chinese bismuth ingot export prices kept increasing in December following the price rise in the domestic market.
