AM Statistics: Chinese aluminum fluoride capacities up by 22.1% YOY in 2013

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 20 Feb 14 - According to the latest statistics from Asian Metal, Chinese aluminum fluoride capacities were 1,105,000tpy in 2013, up by 22.1% compared with that of 2012. The major production areas include Hunan, Shandong and Henan.
Though overcapacity problem is quite serious in Chinese aluminum fluoride market, there are some new capacities under construction. The new plants entering the market in 2013 were located in Hunan, Shaanxi, Jiangxi and Gansu. We can check the detailed information from the following table. Except for Yizhang Hongyuan Chemical, which ran normally in 2013, other new plants did not produce any product due to the sluggish market or other reasons.
