Tin ingot output of China Tin Group down by 6% MOM in February

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 3 Mar 16 - With an annual capacity of 20,000t of tin ingot, China Tin Group Co., Ltd. produced 691t of the material in February, a decline of 6% compared with the 735t in January, noted one source from the company.
“Our production speed slowed down during the Spring Festival and it is always difficult for us to procure raw material, so our output can’t be raised sharply,” said the source.
Their company saw an output of 10,349t of tin ingot in 2015, representing a dip compared with the 13,000t in 2014. With around 100t of tin ingot in inventory at the moment, they quoted RMB107,500/t (USD16,538/t) for the material on Wednesday, but failed to seal any deals.
