A bismuth ingot producer based in Hunan said that they sold 3t of bismuth ingot 99.99%min at RMB60,000/t (USD4.16/lb) VAT included ex works early this week while the price in late January still helds at around RMB61,000/t (USD4.23/lb) ex works. “The current price for orders in small quantities can still reach above RMB60,000/t (USD4.16/lb) and just above RMB59,000/t (USD4.09/lb) for larger quantities,” said the source. According to him, it is easily accessible to obtain materials at RMB59,000-60,000/t (USD4 . 09-4.16/lb) in the current market due to low interests from end consumers.
