Most bismuth market participants left the market for the Chinese New Year holiday in early February and the market saw stagnation with limited transactions. After the holiday, upstream and downstream producers returned to the market slowly with most testing each other. By the end of February, although producers struggled to operate businesses, prices witnessed significant signs of changing as consumers showed little interest in purchasing with limited inquiries. It is expected that prices for bismuth ingot will move down in March.
