BEIJING (Asian Metal) 5 Jul 16 - A source spoken to by Asian Metal revealed that Lomon will increase further price of titanium dioxide in the near term
“We are having meetings today to discuss new price quotations and I believe that we will possibly mark up further the price by RMB500/t (USD75/t) in domestic market and USD100/t on export market respectively,” said the source from Lomon Titanium Co., who also noted that with a monthly output of nearly 25,000 tons of titanium dioxide, they exported 17,500 tons in June. Additionally, according to the source, they offer at RMB12,500/t (USD1,874/t) ex works for rutile titanium dioxide in domestic market and about USD1,900/t FOB China for overseas market currently, firm quotations from those of last week . “Delivery of material for newly-received orders has been arranged in late September,” added the source.
Lomon has two titanium dioxide plants located in Sichun and Hubei province respectively and owns an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of titanium dioxide. It is the largest titanium dioxide producers in China and one of the most influential titanium dioxide giants all over the world.
