Lomon to mark up titanium dioxide price in the near term

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 5 Jul 16 - A source spoken to by Asian Metal revealed that Lomon will increase further price of titanium dioxide in the near term.Asian Metal Copyright Lomon has two titanium dioxide plants located in Sichun and Hubei province respectively and owns an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of titanium dioxide.Asian Metal Copyright If Lomon announced price increase recently, it will be the eighth price increase of titanium dioxide industry in China in 2016.

“We are having meetings today to discuss new price quotations and I believe that we will possibly mark up further the price by RMB500/t (USD75/t) in domestic market and USD100/t on export market respectively,” said the source from Lomon Titanium Co., who also noted that with a monthly output of nearly 25,000 tons of titanium dioxide, they exported 17,500 tons in June.
