During September, bismuth ingot producers continued to raise their offers with a strong positive attitude towards the market, which resulted in constant rises in Chinese bismuth ingot 99.99%min prices in September. Mainstream prices for the material were RMB66,000-68,000/t ex works VAT included, up by 26% from mid-July. Domestic consumers purchased only small volumes of the material due to relatively limited demand; while demand from overseas consumers showed no significant improvement although the summer break was over. Therefore, transactions in the bismuth ingot market were still sparse during September.
