On May 8, Hebi Wonderful Magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. (the company) held the type approval conference for newly high strength and ductility magnesium alloy material and preparation and surface protection technology aerospace applications; the company introduced newly high strength and ductility magnesium alloy material, which is produced jointly by the company and Central South University and will used in the field of army aviation weapons.
Supported by Central South University, China’s Weapon 203 Institution and Aviation Industry Corporation of China in recent years, the company strengthens continuously and produces high strength and ductility magnesium alloy material of stable performance, light quality and methylparaben with Central South University, which can accelerate the military and civilian integrated development and expand the application for magnesium alloy new material in the field of aerospace.
The newly high strength and ductility magnesium alloy material passes more than 10 national detections and its performance meets the designed index of product. Through the type approval conference, the newly high strength and ductility magnesium alloy material acquires exports’ recognition further and set a good pilot application example in the national defence economy, promoting the company’s transformation and upgrading that the company change magnesium alloy cast rod production into high added-value product production.” Gao Yonghao said, vice - chief engineer of the company.
