Recently, Qinghai Qaidam Qingyuan Pan-magnesium Technology Co., Ltd. has achieved a new breakthrough in the smelting process of magnesium alloy project. The trial production of new magnesium alloy semi continuous casting has been successful, which yielded high performance magnesium alloy casting rod.
As of November 6th, the production line has yielded 4 AZ33M high strength and high toughness magnesium alloy casting rods with diameters of 260mm, 340mm, length of 5 meters and total weight of 2.5 tons. The quality of these rods can meet the national standard of AZ33M magnesium alloy.
