Inner Mongolia Zhongyu Magnesium Industry speeds up installing equipment for Phase One of its Mg-alloy wheel hub and motorcar-purpose light-weight section product project, and the Phase One project is expected to go into trial operation in next January.
The project is located in Qianlishan Industry Park, Wuhai city, Inner Mongolia. It has a total investment of RMB7.3 billion, and an annual production capacity of 6 million Mg-alloy wheel hubs and 250,000 tons of high-performance Mg-alloy section products. Its construction consists of two phases. Phase One project has an investment of RMB1.646 billion, an occupation area of around 140 acres and an annual production capacity of 1.2 million Mg-alloy wheel hubs, and it came under construction in 2016. So far, 85% civil engineering of its 9 workshops has been completed, and major equipment has been manufactured and is under debugging at present.
