Ningbo Xingyuan invests into Mg alloy die-casting project

Ningbo Xingyuan Zhuomei Technology Co., Ltd. announced that its high-strength Mg alloy precision die-casting project ("the Project") has been approved by the Ningbo Beilun District Development and Reform Bureau. A total RMB309 million will be invested into the Project to build a production line of high-strength Mg alloy precision die-castings.
To be located in Beilun District, Ningbo City, and with an area of 30,479m2, the Project will have a total investment of RMB309 million, of which RMB287 million are for fixed property construction. When construction is finished, the Project will have an annual production capacity of 4.8 million sets of light-weight and environmentally-friendly high-strength Mg alloy precision die-castings and 50 dies.
In order to further enhance its own research and development capacity in the Mg alloy precision die-casting field, Ningbo Xingyuan Zhuomei Technology Co., Ltd. invested RMB23.25 million into building a technology research center for high-strength Mg alloy precision die-castings. Focusing upon die-casting designing, die developing, molding, precision processing and inspection-tool technologies, the company equipped the center with 84 sets newly purchased instruments.
