BEIJING (Asian Metal) 14 Mar 18 - According to statistics from Asian Metal, China imported 3,957t of refined tin and tin alloy in 2017, down by 60.78%YOY from 10,088t in 2016.
In 2017, China imported 327t of refined tin and tin alloy from Malaysia, accounting for 8.3% of the total, and imported 982t in 2016, accounting for 9.7% of the total. Bolivia, Indonesia and Malaysia are the three largest exporters of refined tin and tin alloy for China.

In 2017, China imported 1,245t of refined tin and tin alloy from Bolivia, the largest supplier of tin ore and tin alloy for China for past two years, accounting for 31.5% of the total, and imported 4,881t of the material in 2016, accounting for 48.4% of the total. The imports from Indonesia were 1,182t in 2017, accounting for 29.9% of the total and those in 2016 were 2,155t, accounting for 21.4% of the total.
