Indonesia's Timah suspends tin export business early March

An official from PT Timah, a state-owned tin producer in Indonesia, revealed that they couldn't export tin from March 6 because of adjustment of government's policy and expected there would be 3,000t of tin exports reduction.
Amin Haris Sugiarto, the secretary general of Timah, revealed that Indonesia's tin export quota was originally approved by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, but last month the approve rights were transferred to the Trade Ministry.
