Yinchuan absorbs Mg-alloy deep processing and other projects into its development zone

On May 11, Yinchuan Economic and Technology Development Zone ("the Zone") signed framework agreements on a number of cooperation projects, including industrialization project for Mg-alloy plate-strip processing technology, with Henan Zhongtai Industry Co., Ltd. and other companies. These signed agreements absorbed a total investment of RMB8.3 billion for the Zone.
The industrialization project for Mg-alloy plate-strip processing technology ("the Project") was invested by Henan Zhongtai Industry Co., Ltd. With a total investment of RMB6.5 billion, the Project will be built in two stages within two years. The stage one project has an investment of RMB500 million and will realize a production value of RMB2 billion when going into full capacity; and the stage two project has an investment of RMB6 billion and will realize a production value of RMB20 billion when going into full capacity. When the whole Project goes into full capacity, it is expected to boost development of Mg alloy industry in Ningxia and therefore brings about excellent social and economic benefits.
