The niobium-tantalum-gallium mine is located in the Xiaolonghe tin ore field of the Malaysia-Thailand-West Yunnan-West Sichuan-Gangdese metallogenic belt
Around the tin-polymetallic metallogenic belt, the non-ferrous metal tin and tungsten deposits related to the Yanshan granite are taken as research objects. Through the tectonic and alteration mapping, the late magmatic fracture and alteration, mineralization, and geological structure background are ascertained . And the same magmatic fault, important magmatic events and their relationship with mineralization are pinpointed, providing scientific research for the investigation of the southwest Sanjiang non-ferrous metal and "three rare" (rare earth REE, rare metals and rare elements) resource base and the prospecting exploration area.
The results involve the strategic mineral resources necessary for national defense -- rare metals niobium, tantalum and beryllium, and the comprehensive exploration and development of rare earth REE and rare metal rubidium in the region. The result will change the industrial layout of China's niobium, tantalum and rare earth industries, consolidate national defense and promote the development of new energy and environmental protection.
. Through the alteration of the Guyong complex rock and tectonic geochemistry research, as well as grooving and sampling, the newly discovered rare metals niobium and tantalum and scarce metal gallium ore, associated with rare metals such as rubidium, beryllium and rare earth, provide the main clue for the search for rare metals and scarce metal in west Yunnan tin ore belt.
