AM Stats: Chinese magnesium alloy producers' output down by 22.7% YOY in May

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 20 Jun 19 - Statistics from Asian Metal Database show that Chinese producers produced 19,400t of magnesium alloy in May 2019, down by 5.1% compared with 20,450t produced last month and by 22.7% compared with 25,100t produced in the same period of last year.
In May 2019, magnesium alloy producers in Jiangsu and Shanghai produced 10,050t and 3,950t of the material respectively, down by 13.4% and 1.3% MOM; and producers in Shaanxi and Shanxi produced 1,850t and 3,550t of the material respectively, up by 12.1% and 10.9% MOM;
