Linchun Magnesium to put into operation magnesium metal and alloy project in Oct

Jincheng Linchun Magnesium is expediting construction of a 30,000tpa magnesium metal and magnesium alloy project, and expects its 10,000tpa Stage One to go into formal production in late October.
An expansion of the former Lingchuan Weiding Chemicals Co., Ltd., the 30,000tpa project has a total investment of RMB180 million (USD25.15 million) and went into construction in March 2009. So far the company has got all government approvals on land application, plant designing and environmental impact assessment, and has had key production facilities built in place, including rotary kiln, reduction workshop and refinery workshop; now major production equipment is under installation. The 10,000tps Stage One of the project is expected to go into formal production in late October, and when the whole project goes into operation, it's expected to realize an annual sales revenue of RMB800 million (USD112 million), profits of RMB80 million (USD11.18 million) and taxation of RMB50 million (USD6.99 million).
