AM Stats: Chinese magnesium alloy producers' sales down by 6.4% YOY in Aug

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 19 Sep 19 - Statistics from Asian Metal Database show that Chinese magnesium alloy producers sold 21,270t of the material in August 2019, up by 5.9% compared with 20,090t produced last month and down by 6.4% compared with 22,730t produced in the same period of last year.

In August 2019, magnesium alloy producers in Jiangsu and Shaanxi sold 9,790t and 1,470t of the material respectively, down by 4.8% and 0.7% MOM; producers in Shanghai and Shanxi sold 3,550t and 5,860t of the material respectively, up by 14.5% and 26.6% MOM; and producers in other regions sold 600t, unchanged MOM.
