Yunhai Special Metals to invest in Al-Mg alloy project

On September 16, Lishui District Ecology and Environment Bureau in Nanjing city accepted the environmental impact assessment report submitted by Yunhai Special Metals on its Al alloy, Al master alloy and Al-Mg alloy die-casting and deformation processing project (Stage One), and publicized the assessment report for public review.
The project consists of two stages. For the to-be-reviewed Stage One, the company plans to construct a 200,000tpa high-performance semi-continuity Al-alloy die-casting production line and a 50,000tpa Mg-Al alloy extrusion production line. And Stage Two consists of a 20,000tpa Al-Ti-B wire product project, a 30,000tpa Al master alloy project and a 30,000tpa Mg-Al alloy die-casting project; the total investment for Stage Two is RMB1,405.9 million (USD198 million) and its land area will be 19.23 hectares.
