Al-Mg deep processing industrial cluster planned in Shanxi

The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shanxi on September 30 announced a three-year action plan for the high-quality development of new material industry. According to the plan, Shanxi will build five 5-billion-yuan industrial clusters of new material, including Mg-Al-Cu alloy, advanced chemical materials and semiconductor crystal, etc.
The plan says Shanxi will build an Al-Mg deep processing industrial cluster to be located near Hejin, Wenxi and Xingxian, with participations of leading enterprises including Chalco Shanxi New Material, Chalco Huarun, and Huasheng Magnesium.
