Recently Beijing Yingyu Electronic Technology launched a foamed metallic material-foamed magnesium alloy.
As a new type of multi-functional material, foamed magnesium alloy has a number of characteristics and advantages such as light weight, high stiffness, sound absorbing and insulation, heat insulation, shock and impact resistance, excellent electrical properties and being recyclable, and therefore has great application prospects in weaponry production and civil fields.
According to General Manager Hao Junbiao of the company, this technique is in optimizing stage and will be put into mass production when it gets mature.
