Prices of non-grain oriented electrical steel in major markets of China kept the downward trend during this month on soft demand and the decrease in steel mills' EXW prices, while those of grain oriented electrical steel went up further mainly supported by higher purchase costs and the tight supply from steel mills. Customers were still purchasing materials upon orders and the market sales performance remained unsatisfactory.
