NBS: China's alumina output up by 5.3% YoY in Jan-Nov

According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in November 2021, China produced about 6.05 million tons of alumina, down by 4.5% YoY. From January to November, China's alumina output totaled about 71.15 million tons, up by 5.3% YoY.
In November, the alumina output of Shandong, Shanxi and Guangxi totaled about 4.6 million tons, accounting for 76.1% of the total output of China. Among them, Shandong ranks first with alumina output of about 2.24 million tons, accounting for about 36.9% of China's output; Shanxi ranks second with about 1.37 million tons, accounting for about 22.6% of China's output; and Guangxi ranks third with 999,200 tons, accounting for about 16.5% of China's output.
