ANTAM eyes higher bauxite production in 2022

On June 2, Indonesian mining company PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTAM) announced that it aims to maintain the positive performance through the solid production and sales target for 2022.
The company aims to produce 1.80 million wmt of bauxite in 2022, a rise of 8% compared to bauxite production volume of 1.67 million wmt in 2021.
The bauxite sales volume in 2022 is targeted at 1.44 million wmt, basically stable compared to the bauxite sales volume of 1.42 million wmt last year.
Regarding to chemical grade alumina products which produced by ANTAM subsidiary, PT Indonesia Chemical Grade Alumina, the production and sales volume of alumina products are both targeted up to 126 thousand tons in 2022.
