China to continue to enforce NEV purchase tax exemption policy

On July 29 at the executive meeting of the State Council of China which aimed to further stimulate demand and promote investment and consumption, three measures were suggested to increase auto consumption, including increasing the number of auto purchase indexes and loosing restrictions on auto purchase qualifications; smoothing second-hand auto selling channels; and continuation of NEV purchase tax exemption policy.
