China has extended the purchase tax waiver on new energy vehicles (NEVs) by another year to the end of 2023, as part of its effort to advance the development of NEV industry and boost auto sales, according to a notice jointly issued by the Ministry of Finance, State Taxation Administration, and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on September 26.
