On September 25, the roasting furnace of the second phase project of PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia (BAI) successfully produced qualified alumina products. It marks that the second phase of the project was officially put into operation.

When the project is completed and put into operation, it can produce 2 million tons of alumina annually.
