BYD declares entering Indian passenger car market

At the auto launching event held on October 11 in New Delhi, India by BYD, the company declared that it formally entered the Indian passenger car market and launched the first high-end pure electric SUV Yuan Plus.
Since 2007 when BYD set up its Indian branch company, it has totally invested over USD200 million in it with two plants constructed and businesses gradually carried out, including solar energy panel, battery energy-storing, electric bus, electric truck and electric forklift, etc.
