KDL to build NEV power battery precision structural parts phase III project in Yibin

KDL announced on December 27 that it plans to use no more than 500 million yuan (71.75 million US dollars) of self-raised funds to build the third phase of new energy vehicle (NEV) power battery precision structural parts project in Yibin through its wholly-owned subsidiary Sichuan Kedali Precision Industry Co., Ltd. The project will produce power battery shell and cover plate, with a planned annual capacity of 60 million sets, and will generate an annual output value of about 1.2 billion yuan (172 million US dollars) when it reaches design capacity.
